Chris Gayle proved himself as a right choice

CHRIS GAYLE, former captain of team West Indies, has proved himself once again by making one of the fastest centuries in IPL. He scored 102 runs without fear. Gayle formed powerful partnerships with Tillakarante Dilshan and Virat Kohli.

Bangalore had to chase a competitive total 172 but Chris made it so easy for the struggling Royal Challengers Banglore and Royal Challengers, in the end, won by 9 wickets without any trouble.

Vijay Mallya, owner of the team must be feeling proud of taking Chris Gayle back in the team and Gayle proved himself as the right choice. It did not matter to the hard hitting batsman who was balling in the innings. He just kept himslef busy by hitting sixers. Gayle’s charm overshadowed every single player on the ground.

Chris Gayle preferred and gave more importance to IPL 4 rather than playing for the national team. He may get into some trouble after taking this decision. But according to sources, Gayle was unhappy with the behavior of the West Indies Cricket Board, as after getting injured during the recently held World Cup, he was left on his own to bear the expenses for his medical treatment. So, this time he chose money rather than national pride. Perhaps, things can be looked at both ways as far as Gayle is concered.

The Bangalore team should feel lucky to have a player like Chris Gayle and hopefully with one more in form batsman in the team, they will shine more!
