7 Internet Tips And Tricks For Faster Browsing

1. We have many shortcut keys which can be used with different browsers. Below are some of them

• Press the Backspace to go back a page.
• Press Ctrl+B to open your bookmarks.
• Press F5 to refresh or reload a page.
• Press Ctrl+H to see history.
• Press Alt+D to move cursor to the  address bar. You can easily type in the address bar without touching your mouse.
• Press F11 to make the browser screen full screen. Press F11 again to return back to the normal view.
• Hold down the Ctrl key and press + or – to increase and decrease size of text.
• Press Ctrl+F to open the find box in the browser to search the text in the webpage for which you’re looking for.

2. Use tabbed browsing to make your browsing smoother. If  you want to open a link in a new tab, all you have to do is just hold down the Ctrl key and click the link or if you have mouse with a wheel button just press the link in the middle mouse button.
3. Quickly move between web fields with the help of Tab button. If you are filling out an online forum or such thing use Tab button to go to next field. Use Shift+Tab to go to the back field.
4. Use search engines with their full strengths. Use double quotes to find the desirable thing as a single unit. For example, if you search for Internet Tips and Tricks on Google then the search results will show you pages related to Internet, Tips, Tricks separately while if you search “Internet Tips and Tricks” with double quotes, the search query this will only return pages that exactly have the phrase Internet Tips and Tricks next to each other.
5. You don’t need to type http:// or even www. while typing an address in the address bar for example if you want to visit to the Techfing you could just type techfing and then press Ctrl+Enter to type out the full http://www.google.com address.
6. Don’t stick with your default browser that comes with your computer. With Microsoft this is Internet Explorer. There are many browsers in the market which are free to download and having features which your current browser does not included. Google Chrome, Fire Fox, Opera are some of our favorites.
