The detailed day wise schedules indicating the ranks called for counseling in each subject and the tentative vacancy position will be made available in University website: www.osmania.ac.in/admissions on 24-08-2011 by 4.00 pm. They will also be displayed at the office of the Directorate of Admissions, Osmania University, Hyderabad. All those candidates whose ranks fall within the ranks called for counseling are eligible to attend the counseling. Already admitted candidates interested in the seats available may also attend. Consequential vacancies will also be filled simultaneously. The general instructions regarding eligibility, certificates to be brought and fee to be paid are already intimated to the candidates along with the rank cards. Admitted candidates have to pay the required fee on the spot. The candidates have to submit the Transfer Certificate (T.C.) at the time of admission itself. If relevant category candidates are not available, the seats will be filled by others as per the rules. Candidates are advised to verify the vacancy position before attending the counseling.

Krishna University is named after mighty river Krishna. Krishna River, also called Krishnaveni is one of the longest rivers of India (about 1300 Kms in length). It originates from Mahabaleshwar in Maharasthra in the west and meets the Bay of Bengal at Hamsaladeevi, in Divi seema in Krishna district, in Andhra Pradesh, in East coast. The delta of the river is one of the most fertile regions in India and was the home to ancient Sathavahana and Ikshvaku kings. Vijayawada is the largest city on the river Krishna.
