WBJEEM 2014 results to be declared today, June 5 at 4 PM

WBJEEM -2014, the Joint Entrance Examination conducted for admission to Engineering / Technological / Architecture, Medical / Dental degree level courses in universities / colleges / institutions in West Bengal will be declared today, June 5 at 4 pm. 

 The results will be available on multiple websites. However, to get a free update via SMS as soon as they are released, candidates can register with their roll no. and mobile phone number in advance on www.exametc. 

WBJEEM-2014 merit rank will be given to all eligible applicants who appear in all the relevant papers of WBJEEM-2014. There will be two separate merit lists for each of the two categories of courses, i.e. Engineering and Pharmacy. 

For admission to MBBS and BDS courses in West Bengal through WBJEEM scores, candidate must also pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination recognized by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences with individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and minimum of 50 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology in aggregate (40 per cent for SC/ST, OBC-A, OBC-B candidates) and 30 per cent marks in English (for all categories of candidates) in the qualifying examination. This year onwards a positive score i.e at least a zero is mandatory for being eligible for attending centralised counseling sessions conducted by the board. All the aspirants who appeared for the exam, irrespective of their score, will be awarded rank.
